Attribution & Data Sources

1. Weather

Forecasts and current conditions come from Apple Weather via WeatherKit. The Apple Weather mark and the link to Apple's legal attribution page are shown on the weather page in the app and here.

2. Air quality

The air quality index comes from the World Air Quality Index project (WAQI) and the originating environmental agency of each station. Observations may be unvalidated at the time of publication and revised after quality control; they are for reference only. Terms.

3. City search

Place names and coordinates in the city picker come from the Open-Meteo geocoding API, built on GeoNames data and licensed under CC BY 4.0. Only the text you type is sent; the weather itself is not fetched from Open-Meteo.

4. Sounds

Alarm sounds are the Wedo Alarm library: Pixabay (Pixabay License / CC0), NotificationSounds.com (CC BY, credited here) and Suno paid-plan outputs with commercial rights. Sounds are not redistributed as standalone files.

5. Caching

Weather and air quality are cached on the device for the day so the morning page does not refetch. Nothing is scraped in bulk or redistributed.

Material changes to sources, attribution or licensing are posted here.
